'Good Luck Sakhi', starring Keerthy Suresh as the central character, has finally locked its release date after a delay of about six months. Directed by Nagesh Kukunoor, the sports romedy will hit the screens on June 3.

"Here’s the announcement you’ve been waiting for! #GoodLuckSakhi is coming to theatres on 3rd June! Save the date! (sic)," the 'Rang De' actress wrote. Dil Raju is backing the film. The ace producer's backing is said to have sustained the film even though it failed to secure a release last year during the pandemic.

The film will release in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam.

What is the film's premise? The 'Mahanati' actress in the film is Sakhi, who is an embodiment of bad luck. She chases her dreams and goes on to become a success story after the entry of Jagapathi Babu's character. The film has a rifle backdrop.

Aadhi Pinisetty is Goli Raju, a stage artiste. Rahul Ramakrishna is seen sporting a long beard and hair. Devi Sri Prasad andChirantan Das are the music director and cinematographer, respectively.
