Here is the list of premises/places of Sasikala raided by taxmen!

Yesterday, income Tax officials conducted one of the largest raids ever witnessed in the State’s history by raiding the premises, establishments and residences owned by Sasikala, her relatives, close friends, business acquaintances, etc. across Tamil Nadu and elsewhere.

It was informed to the press that the raids were sparked by complaints of tax evasion by those involved. The raids are likely to continue on Friday too, it is intimated.

More than 190 places in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and New Delhi owned by Sasikala and her relatives have been raided, bringing to the fore the money-power accumulated by the former aide of the former chief-minister J. Jayalalithaa. 

The following is the list of a few places raided yesterday:


•    Jaya TV office in Ekkattuthangal, Chennai & Namadhu MGR
•    Chennai residence of Vivek, son of Sasikala’s sister-in-law Ilavarasi
•    Ilavarasi’s daughter Krishnapriya’s Chennai residence
•    Jazz cinema premises owned by Vivek
•    Dinakaran’s aide Jana’s K.K. Nagar residence in Chennai
•    Residence of Dr. Venkatesh and Sasikala’s husband Natarajan in Thanjavur
•    Dinakaran’s Mannai Nagar residence in Mannargudi
•    Sasikala’s brother Divakaran’s Sundarakottai residence near Mannargudi
•    Divakaran’s college at Sundarakottai near Mannargudi
•    Dr. Sivakaumar and Kaliyaperumal’s Trichy residences
•    Sasikala’s advocate Senthil’s Namakkal residence
•    Factory at Erode and Sasikala’s Curzon Estate in Kodanadu
•    Sasikala’s brother Sundaravadhanam’s Pudukkottai residence
•    AIADMK leader Pugazhendhi’s Bangalore residence
•    Dinakaran’s farm-house in Puducherry
•    Sasikala’s firms in Delhi and Andhra Pradesh
•    Residence of Poonkundran, who was Jayalalithaa’s personal secretary
