As promised recently, WhatsApp has introduced a Disappearing Messages feature. Users can now ensure that their messages are removed in seven days. There is only a single time-setting as of now. It's not possible to disappear a message before seven days.
Android users would have to update their WhatsApp to version 2.21.206.15 and iPhone users to version 2.21.121.4 for the feature to be enabled.
Here is how to enable it:
Go to WhatsApp chat
Tap Contact Info
Scroll down to Disappearing Messages
Tap 'On' to enable the feature
Note: This has to be done individually for chats. It's not a blanked feature.
How to store the disappearing messages:
This can be done only before a message disappears. Here are the steps:
Copying the message
Store it somewhere by saving the concerned file or taking a screenshot.
