It has been a long time since the veteran actress Hema Malini worked in regional films. But now we will see her in a Bhojpuri flick.

The movie that also stars Amitabh Bachchan is directed by Abhishek Chadda and is a debut venture of Deepak Sawant who has been Amitabh Bachchan's make-up man for decades.

On his insistence both Amitabh Bachchan and Hema Malini agreed to work in the film. Hema Malini plays the role of a Thakurain and is Bachchan's wife in the movie.

The film also stars Ravi Kisen and Nagma. There is also a Holi song which has been sung by Sudhesh Bhonsle, Sadhana Sargam, Udit Narayan and Shreya Ghosal and it has been choreographed by Saroj Khan.
