Helping hand to arm-wrestler

Actor Sarath Kumar, who had on screen played roles of big-hearted man helping the needy and the oppressed, has now proved a real life saviour to a sportsman.
Joby Mathew, 28, a national arm-wrestling champion has been invited to take part in the World Arm-Wrestling Championship in Japan from 27 October.
A newspaper recently reported that it was doubtful whether Joby would be able to make the trip. Lack of funds was cited as the reason for the uncertainty.
Sarath, currently shooting for his Khakhi, contacted the newspaper to say he was ready to sponsor Joby's Japan trip.
He also requested authorities to expedite formalities to issue Joby a passport.
