'Hello!', Akkineni Akhil's second film, directed by Vikram Kumar and produced by Nagarjuna, is in the news for clinching a fancy deal.

As per a source close to the makers, the film's Ceded area rights have been bought by a distributor named Narasimha for a whopping Rs. 5 Cr on NRA (Non-Recoverable Advance) basis. This deal bodes well for the much-awaited rom-com.

Kalyani, director Priyadarshan's daughter, is the female lead. It has music by Anup Rubens. Quoting what Nag recently said, "This is a love story with doses of action. The hero keeps waiting for that one word 'Hello!' from his lover. That's why the title. Kalyani Priyadarshan was chosen because Vikram was looking for a fresh face. We needed someone fresh like Girija ('Gitanjali') and Samantha ('Ye Maya Chesave')."

Most probably, the film will release on Dec 22.
