What happens to those phone numbers that some lead actor, a comedian or a villain casually mentions in a random scene in the movies? They are picked up by hundreds of moviegoers. If the number is valid, it's hellish for the user. One such phone number can now potentially make Akkineni Nagarjuna poorer by Rs. 50 lacs!
In 'Hello!', the heroine (as a child) pens down her number on a Rs.100 note so that her friend (the hero) can call her back. While the hero misses the number, thousands have noted it down in real life.
The phone number belongs to Vikas Prajapati, a resident of Gurugram. Since the release of the romantic drama in December, he has received a countless number of calls every single hour on his phone. All the callers are asking him for Kalyani Priyadarshan!
Vikas has been so inconvenienced that he has sent a legal notice to Nagarjuna, the film's producer, asking him to pay damages to the tune of Rs. 50 lacs. Vikas has said in the legal notice that he hasn't been able to spend time with his wife and kids because of the endless calls on his phone. Moreover, he hasn't been able to attend his duties properly. He can't afford to change the number either.
