An adorable video shows a one-year-old toddler hugging a stranger after he realizes that she has a limb difference like him. Joseph Tidd from Orlando, Florida was born with a condition known as Symbrachydactyly, a very rare congenital defect. This is caused when parts of the child’s body do not get enough blood flow leading to certain developmental issues. Joseph was born without a hand.

The video shows how the toddler reacts when he sees a woman whose arm looks just like his. Even at that young age, he seems to be able to recognize that she is similar to him. As she approaches for a fist bump, his face lights up. He then goes in for a big hug wrapping his arms around the woman. She seems incredibly touched by the tiny one’s gesture and is nearly brought to tears.
