In a shocking news to the sports fraternity, legendary Indian cricketer Kapil Dev has reportedly suffered a heart attack and it has been said that he has undergone angioplasty at a hospital in Delhi.
Kapil Dev is one of the most celebrated cricketers and a fine allrounder who represented India for more than a decade. Kapil Dev debuted for India against Pakistan in 1978, and made his Test debut the same year. Kapil played 131 Tests, scoring 5,248 runs and picking up 434 wickets.
Kapil Dev also played for India in 225, ODIs, scoring 3,783 runs and taking 253 wickets. His career peaked when he lead India to its first come one day international world Cup victory in 1983.
