He is my friend, guardian: Vijay Deverakonda

It’s Puri Jaganandh’s birthday today and Vijay Deverakonda made it a point to wish his ‘Liger’ director in grand terms. The ‘Arjun Reddy’ star described the ‘Pokiri’ director as a friend and a guardian. 

Taking to Twitter, the ‘Geetha Govindam’ actor suggested that Puri is a partner in crime. “You and I meeting – was Destined. Ever since we met, 2 years ago, you have become my Director – giving me my biggest play ground as an actor, my Friend – who I trust with happy things and sad, my Guardian – while I do crazy shit away from home,” he wrote. 

VD added that he shares massive dreams with Puri. “Next year, we shall give the world something they will not forget,” he added, indicating that ‘Liger’ will hit the screens in 2022. 

“I love you @purijagan sir. Happy Birthday, if you just promise to stay healthy, I shall be by your side to blow minds,” VD further added. 

Earlier in the day, Mahesh Babu, too, wished Puri a happy birthday. Several industry celebs are wishing Puri today.
