Actor Arjun Kapoor's latest film 'Ek Villain Returns' was finally released this Friday and it had a decent opening and garnered moderate to positive reviews from the audience. The film also starred John Abraham, Tara Sutaria and Disha Patani and it was a sequel to 2014 thriller 'Ek Villain'. On Friday, Arjun Kapoor took to his Instagram and talked about how significant the character of Gautam is for him.
The actor shared a bunch of photos of himself as the character and wrote, "Some characters are etched into an actors' trajectory. Gautam is one such character and will always be. He helped me bring out aspects of my personality that were undiscovered by me. Plotted within a script such as Ek Villain Returns, the character radiates the right and relevant emotions, madness and energy. So grateful to have had this chance to embody this role. #EkVillainReturns releases today - Gautam is now all yours."
Few days back, Arjun had talked about how he got to have some stylish tattoos for his role in 'Ek Villain Returns'. He had stated, "Ek Villain Returns was an amazing project for me because I got to sport such insane tattoos that define my character and personality in the film. Getting inked holds a different meaning for everyone, for me it was always about imprinting a part of your soul on to your body. With this film, I can safely say that I have been reunited with my love for body art and I thank Mohit Suri for covering me with tattoos that I will cherish forever. I already have 3 tattoos. Time to maybe get 1 more.”
