Jagapathi is not a gambler. He doesn't have that instinct in his blood. His predictable films are good examples of the fact that he prefers to play safe.

But he is turning a punter with a vengeance.

No, he has developed a liking for the gambler's table. It is just that he is donning the role of a gambler for his forthcoming film Pandem.

Pandem means a wager.

Jaggu Bhai plays the title role. And he has taken another gamble by choosing to play comedy --- a genre he has not tried his hand at quite regularly.

"It is a fun film with lots of entertainment," he says. But every hero in Tollywood says this about his film.

But Pandem would indeed be different, he assures us.

The film, with Kalyani as his leading lady, will hit the theatres this December.
