Bollywood is place full of cutthroat competition and that's precisely why aspiring and new generation actors often find themselves in a race to grab better scripts and perform better than their contemporaries. However, actress Sanya Malhotra says that instead of getting insecure, she gets hyped and inspired when her fellow actors deliever amazing performances.
Sharing the example of Kriti Sanon's performance in 'Mimi', Sanya told ETimes, “No, I am never under peer pressure. I’m inspired by what other people do. Like Kriti’s work in Mimi - it was inspiring."
The actress further talked about how it is a wonderful time to be an actor as she gets to do all kinds of challenging roles and live her dream. She stated, "I am so happy that I became an actor at such a wonderful time. I had manifested that I want to become an actor when I was a child. I’m living that dream, isn’t that good? Whatever my peers do makes me happy and proud of the profession I am in. They pick up challenging roles and push boundaries which helps everyone in the circle. That boosts my confidence to do something in my career, too. Mujhe aaj tak peer pressure feel nahi hua.”
On the work front, Sanya was seen in films 'Love Hostel' and 'HIT: The First Case' earlier this year and her upcoming projects include 'Jawan' and 'Sam Bahadur'.
