Two days later, on June 25, her father, seasoned actor Shatrughan Sinha, checked into Kokilaben Ambani Hospital. Seen visiting him were Sonakshi and Zaheer; the causes of his hospitalization had now become clear.

After a little incident at home, Shatrughan Sinha was admitted for a standard check-up. A Times Now article claims Sinha damaged his ribs during a small accident in his dining room. Getting off his sofa, he stumbled on the edge of a carpet. Luckily Sonakshi was there to grab him, therefore preventing a more serious fall.

The incident happened at Sinha's preferred location in the house, where he regularly sits, watches TV, and does interviews, the paper reports. He had pain in his ribs the next morning even though he rested for a day and got the right medical assistance. To guarantee no inside injuries from the fall, his doctor recommended hospitalization.

The media portal claims that the check-up's findings were positive, and Sinha should be released by July 1.
