Ramya, now known as the "hat-trick heroine" after the success of "Akash", "Gauramma" and "Amruthadhare", has signed for four new films.

One is an as yet untitled film with Darshan, under Guru Datt's direction. She will also be working with director S. Narayan in another still-to-be-titled film with Vijaya Raghavendra in the lead. S.A. Chinnegowda is the producer.

Ramya will also star in "Julie", a remake of the Malayalam hit "Chattakkari" directed by K.S. Sethumadhavan. Poornima Mohan, who had earlier produced "Vijayadashami", will direct the Kannada version.

Her fourth new film in the offing is "Aalaapa", to be directed by Kavitha Lankesh.

Ramya claims that her "tiff" with another top Kannada actress, Rakshitha, is "a thing of the past".

Ramya told reporters that she had patched up with Rakshitha. To prove her point, she telephoned Rakshitha in front of the reporters!
