Hasee Toh Phasee
Veteran ad filmmaker Vinil Mathew makes his directorial debut on big screen with Dharma Productions and Phantom Films' rom com `Hasee Toh Phasee' starring Sidharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra together for the first time in lead.
With a quirky tagline - "Love Goes Cuckin Frazy", the movie promises nothing but a fun-filled rollercoaster ride with these two crazy actors.
Spread across Mumbai over a decade, the story is about the rebellious Meeta and the mischievous Nikhil strugglingto fit in with their families. Nikhil meets Meeta and falls in love with her sister Karishma on the same day. Karishma's father does not approve of Nikhil and finds him to be a lazy young man. Nikhil promises Karishma that he will prove himself worthy of her. Nikhil is re-introduced to Meeta by Karishma and is instructed to put her up in a hotel. In an attempt to please Karishma he decides to keep Meeta in his home. During Meeta's stay at Nikhil's house, they grow close and open up to each other. In the midst of this confusion, the truth of relationships is unfolded; the strength of unions is tested and love triumphs.
