Has 'Thugs Of Hindostan' lost 110 Cr deal?

'Thugs Of Hindostan' has flopped in a major way in India. The resounding failure is going to have its repercussions even in the Chinese market for the Aamir Khan-Amitabh Bachchan movie.
As per some reports, a China-based distribution company was earlier ready to pay Rs 110 Cr to Yash Raj Films for the movie's release in China on a Minimum Guarantee basis. Since Aamir's previous films like 'Dangal', 'Secret Superstar' and 'PK' have done very well in that country, this was an understandable deal.
However, the failure of 'TOH' in India has shocked the China-based company, which has now started renegotiating the deal. It doesn't want to pay Rs 110 Cr and instead opt for a revenue-sharing model.
So, Yash Raj Films will get revenue only if 'TOH' works in China. If not, it's all over for it.
