Has Teja indirectly taken a dig at Krish Jagarlamudi? Seems to be the case. In an interview, the ‘Nene Raju Nene Mantri’ director has reportedly stated that he is yet to watch ‘NTR: Kathanayakudu’. So far, so good. He added, replying to another question, that the director of a biopic needs to have a brain to make a dramatic movie.
It’s well-known that Teja was the director of the ‘NTR’ biopic. He exited from the project after shooting certain portions. Reportedly, he left the biopic because he couldn’t handle the subject. If this is true, it’s an irony that Teja is calling out some other director for lack of ability to make a dramatic biopic. Whatever happened to his ability when the opportunity was all his to make the ‘NTR’ biopic?
By saying that he hasn’t watched ‘Kathanayakudu’ yet, Teja has also bought the luxury of plausible deniability. He can now say that he never meant to say anything against Krish as he is yet to watch the movie.
A flop movie (which ‘Kathanayakudu’ most definitely is) is so vulnerable that it can become anybody and everybody’s butt of ridicule.
