Has Suriya got converted to Islam? - Viral Video

The social media is agog with the rumours of actor Suriya converting to Islam after a video of him praying in a mosque went viral on the internet. In the video, we can see Suriya dressed in a traditional Muslim attire and perform some prayers.
However, when we contacted official sources of Suriya, we were informed that the video was taken during the shooting of Singam 2' which was happening near Kadappa. Apparently, Suriya was invited by A.R, Rahman to a special event in a famous mosque in Kadappa, and the video was taken at that time. Hope this puts an end to all baseless rumors.
