நடிகை கஸ்தூரி தனது துணிச்சலான அரசியல் மற்றும் சமூக கருத்துக்களால் அடிக்கடி தலைப்பு செய்திகளில் இடம்பெறுவார். அதுமட்டுமின்றி சில சமயங்களில் சர்ச்சைகளிலும் அவர் சிக்குவது உண்டு.
இந்த நிலையில் நடிகை கஸ்தூரி இஸ்லாமிய உடையிலும், தொழுகை நடத்துவது போன்றும் இரண்டுப் புகைப்படங்களை தனது சமூக வலைத்தளத்தில் பதிவு செய்துள்ளார். மேலும் 'நாம் அனைவரும் ஒரே கடவுளை ஒரே நோக்கத்திற்காகத்தான் வழிபடுகிறோம். ஆனால் வார்த்தைகள் மட்டுமே வெவ்வேறு' என்று கூறியுள்ளார்.
இன்று ரம்ஜான் நோன்பு ஆரம்பமாவதால் இஸ்லாமியர்களுக்கு வாழ்த்து கூறுவதற்காக அவர் இந்த புகைப்படங்களை பதிவு செய்திருக்கலாம். ஆனால் அவருடைய பதிவில் உள்ள கமெண்டுக்களில் கஸ்தூரி இஸ்லாமிய மதத்திற்கு மாறிவிட்டாரா? என்ற கேள்வியை பலர் எழுப்பியுள்ளனர்.
