Ileana D'Cruz, who was a star heroine in the 2000s, got to act alongside the likes of Mahesh Babu and Pawan Kalyan. In the 2010s, she sort of disconnected herself from Telugu cinema. 'Amar Akbar Anthony', the Ravi Teja-Sreenu Vaitla movie, left a bad taste recently.

The actress is now in the news for rumoredly being shortlisted (not selected) for the female lead's role in 'The Ghost', which is an Akkineni Nagarjuna-starrer. Director Praveen Sattaru is said to be considering her after Kajal Aggarwal recently excused herself from the project for personal reasons. The 'Magadheera' star is said to be pregnant and has expressed her inability.

Ileana will be doing stunts if she indeed gets to do 'The Ghost'. This is going to be her biggest Telugu movie in several years if everything falls in place. The flick is being made on a big scale. 

The film has Gul Panag and Anikha Surendran in key roles. Two schedules of 'The Ghost' have already been completed.
