Has China occupied Ladakh?: Rahul Gandhi

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday doubled down on his rhetoric by asking the Centre if the Indian territory in Ladakh has been occupied by the Chinese. Taking to Twitter, RaGa asked, "Once the Raksha Mantri is done commenting on the hand symbol, can he answer: Have the Chinese occupied Indian territory in Ladakh?"
This is his second such tweet in less than 24 hours. On Monday, the MP of Wayanad, quoting the tweets of a strategic analyst, said, "The media is muzzled and terrified. The truth seems dormant. But it flows in the blood of every single Indian army officer and soldier. They know exactly what is happening in Ladakh." Rahul's insinuation is that the Modi government is hiding the "truth" about Ladakh by silencing the media.
Many on social media are trolling the Congress leader for speaking without evidence. Others are trolling him by reminding him of how the Chinese have occupied the Indian territory over the decades. "Yes, Chinese have occupied Indian territory. Under your great grandfather Nehru, China occupied 37,000 sq km land. Under your mother Sonia - 640 sq km. Under your grandma, it occupied Nagtsang (1984). Under Congress, we lost Nakung (1991), Lungma-Serding (1992), and Skakjung (2008)," tweeted Arihant, a journalist.
