Harshvardhan Kapoor hopes for this change in cinema

Most of the films developed till date follow a structure and are quite linear with the storytelling. Young actor Harshvardhan Kapoor believes that modern films should try a different and random approach. As we know life is quite unpredictable and Harshvardhan wants movies to reflect this.
In a recent interview, he said, "I like digression in films. I believe, in a film, everything doesn’t need to go like a bullet or in a straight line. Everything doesn’t need to have a reason, sometimes things are just there. I come from that school of thought. There is unpredictability and randomness to life and films should reflect that. They don’t need to be so structured."
Directors like Quentin Tarantino, Guy Ritchie and Christopher Nolan have experimented with such cinema and we have seen a few examples in Hindi films as well. On the work front, Harshvardhan will be seen as a popular but insecure actor in the upcoming Netflix thriller 'Ray'.
