B-Town's latest entrant, Harshvardhan Deo who was seen in J'igariyaa' is a scholar. Bollywood attracts talent from all walks of life but it is interesting to see an academician turning into an actor. Harsh, as he is touted these days has pursued a business degree from the prestigious Cardiff University in England. Not just that, he moved onto holding an important position in the United Nations and was rearing to be a diplomat until the suleimani keeda of acting bit him.

Hailing from a family of bureaucrats and cops, Harshvardhan was given a mandate to pursue higher education and excelling at that was not a thing of choice. Not just studies but Harshvardhan has shown his talent with professional music as well. While in London pursuing his education, the boy formed a band which played throughout the UK in over 350 shows.

Harshvardhan said, "My parents were very particular that I give my education foremost importance through my student life. They have been extremely supportive of my decision to enter Bollywood as well. Infact, the deal was do your studies well and then pursue whatever dreams you have, so I have done my bit, met their expectations and now they are reciprocating. My parents are very practical and reasonable people and I thank them for being strict with my studies. I feel I'm standing on strong foundations. I'm here for the long haul and believe I have only started my journey".

Now that is what we call a man of substance- The charm of a film star clubbed with sound intellect makes for a deadly combo.
