With over 25 films in Kannada in the last eight years Harshika Pooachacha fortunate gates are now opened in her career for better.

With talent, good looks, height to her credit, this highly qualified Harshika came to Kannada cinema industry from ‘PUC’ Kannada cinema when she was studying PUC. Although offers came for Harshika in Sugreeva, Thamassu, Jackie, Jugari, Murali Meets Meera, 5 Idiots, Ko Ko, Parie, Crazy Loka, Cycle, Adwaitha, B 3, Re….and other films – Harshika was not satisfied. She was curious to get more challenging offers but that has come for her from Malayalam and Tamil film industry.

Harshika is joining ‘Charminar’ Malayalam film team soon, Ajith is director of this film Ashwin Kumar who acted as villain in top films in Tamil is playing lead role.

The Tamil film Harshika signed is ‘Un Kadhal Irandhal’ with Maqbool Salman, cousin of Duqlar Salman son of super star Mammooty.

Her recent film is ‘Chitte’ in ML Prasanna direction is pretty good. There was scope to perform; there is butterfly painting on her back for this film. this is for the first time body painting was introduced to a heroine in Kannada. She plays a fickle minded character like how a ‘Chitte’ moves around. She has two shades in this film.

Another expected movie of Harshika is ‘Upendra Maththe Baa’ that is all set for release soon.
