Harshavardhan, who shot to fame with the TV comedy 'Amrutham' (and, before that, 'Ruthu Ragalu') many years ago, and who has since turned a dialogue-writer of repute (he has penned the lines for such films as 'Ishq', 'Manam', 'Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyinde', besides the up-and-coming 'Guru'), will wield the megaphone.
Reportedly, the talented writer has chosen the genre of romantic thriller. It will be produced by Anji Reddy, while Sree Mukhi, who awaits the release of 'Babu Baga Busy', will be the female lead.
With Harshavardhan turning a director, he may well give the likes of Srinivas Avasarala healthy competition. Barring 'Chinnadana Nee Kosam', he has most of the times earned name for himself as a bankable writer. One hopes his directorial debut will be a witty affair.
