'Harry Potter' actress announces pregnancy with first child; Shares pictures

British actress Afshan Azad, who is famous for playing the role of Padma Patil in the Harry Potter series, announced her pregnancy on social media alongside a series of pictures with her husband Nabil Kazi.
Putting an end to rumours and speculations, Afshan wrote on one of her Instagram stories, "Now finally you can all now stop assuming, messaging me unsolicited tips on how to get pregnant LOL, comment on my weight gain, pry and ask me a million times if I am or not- I simply just wasn't ready to say. I hope people can respect our privacy and appreciate I just wanted to have a few months in my little bubble before telling any of you. I've had a very eventful and turbulent pregnancy so wanted to wait and take my time to tell you all."
Afshan Azad, who is seen cradling her baby bump in the pictures, also revealed that her first child is due in July this year. The actress had captioned the post, "The secrets out everyone - I'm going to be a mummy!!! Thanking Allah SWT for gifting us our biggest blessing yet Baby Kazi due this July inshAllah. Several celebrities, including some of Afshan's Harry Potter co-stars, congratulated the couple.
The Harry Potter fame later shared another post expressing gratitude for all the wishes from her fans and followers. "Thank you to everyone for your kind comments and well wishes. We were so overwhelmed with everyone's positivity and love yesterday. Baby Kazi is already so so loved," she wrote.
