Harry Potter opens up on ‘terrifying’ night with baby daughter: ‘Couldn’t sleep at all’

Actor Rupert Grint, who is famous for portraying the role of Ron Weasley in the Harry Potter movie series, recently welcomed a baby girl with his partner Georgia Groome.

The actor recently opened up about fatherhood and his terrifying experience of becoming a parent amid the Covid-19 pandemic. Rupert Grint, who joined Instagram after the birth of his baby girl, revealed that his daughter was the reason he decided to get on social media. Recalling the night his daughter was born, Rupert said, “I don’t want to go too into detail, but the first night was just terrifying, you can’t sleep at all, just constantly checking that she’s breathing. I struggle with that, being a dad. Had a bit of an identity crisis. I don’t know, do I change the way I dress now?” 

Rupert and Georgia had announced the news of the latter’s pregnancy in April last year through their representative who had announced the birth of their child the subsequent month as well. “Rupert Grint and Georgia Groome are delighted to confirm the birth of their baby girl. We would please ask that you respect their privacy at this very special time,” he had stated. 

The Harry Potter fame has been dating Georgia, who is famous for her roles in movies, including London to Brighton and Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging, since 2011.
