Rupert Grint, who finally made his Instagram debut on Tuesday, shared a picture of his 6-month old daughter, Wednesday G Grint. The actor got over 2.5 million followers in less than 2 days.

The caption of his post read, "Hey Instagram….only 10 years late, but here I am. Grint on the Gram! Here to introduce you all to Wednesday G. Grint. Stay safe, Rupert." Rupert Grint, who is famous for his role as Ron Weasley in the Harry Potter franchise, welcomed a baby girl into the world along with girlfriend Georgia Groome earlier this year. The couple had announced the news of Georgia's pregnancy in April through their representative who had announced the birth of their child the subsequent month as well. "Rupert Grint and Georgia Groome are delighted to confirm the birth of their baby girl. We would please ask that you respect their privacy at this very special time," he reportedly stated. The Harry Potter fame has been dating Georgia, who is famous for her roles in movies, including London to Brighton and Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging, since 2011. The news of Georgia's pregnancy came a day after the couple was spotted and captured shopping for essential supplies in North London.

Rupert, in an earlier interview, had expressed his desire to start a family right after he turned 30. The actor had stated, "Turning 30 felt strange. It just doesn't feel like I'm there yet and I don't know what the future holds. I'm just going to go with the flow, keep playing interesting characters and see what happens. I'd like to settle down and have kids soon. If I had a son, would I call him Ron? It's quite a good name, but probably not. And Grint's a tough name to pair a one-syllable first name with."
