Harris says no to remixes

ÂI will never use another music composerÂs song. Even If I am working in the remake of a hit movie, I will say no to remixes, says Harris Jayaraj, the hot and happening music director of Kollywood.
With songs from ÂEngeyum Kadhal and ÂKo topping the charts already, the musician has more reasons to smile. ÂI sincerely believe originality alone will stand. Nothing else will.Â
He adds: ÂEven in Nanban, which is inspired by Bollywood hit Â3 IdiotsÂ, we have not opted for any remixes. All the six songs are fresh and we have not used not even one Hindi tune.Â
On ÂEngeyum Kadhal and ÂKoÂ, he says, ÂDirectors Prabhu Deva and K V Anand encouraged me to try new things and the output was so good. I am happy that audience have received both the albums well.Â
