Today is the birthday of Harris Jayaraj who has enthralled audiences all over with his melodic tunes that never fail to play on the mind for a long time. Harris`s songs can be singled out by the richness in rhythm that is unique to him. There is always a cool and chilled out feeling when listening to him and the fact that he always takes care not to overlap the lyrics is a great boon.

In recent times Harris is also adding the kuthu to his repertoire which is taking him closer to the masses. This year he starts off with the Suriya- Hari combo`s 'S3' and also has a good line up with old collaborator A. R. Murugadoss and a new one Vijay in 'Vanamagan'.
