Harris Jayaraj to score music for this famous Tamil hero's upcoming film? - Hot Update

Harris Jayaraj is one of the leading composers in the Tamil film industry in the 2010s, who is best known for his melodies, distinctive usage of singers and stellar interlude compositions. He composes soundtracks primarily for Tamil movies and also has composed for a few Telugu and two Hindi projects.

Harris started his music career as a guitarist in 1987 at age twelve. He was also a keyboard player and went on to work as a programmer under more than twenty-five music directors in multiple languages. The music director has worked on more than 600 projects till the year 2000 as a programmer under the noted composers including A. R. Rahman, Mani Sharma, Karthik Raja, Yuvan Shankar Raja and Vidyasagar.

The musician debuted as a film composer with Gautham Menon's Minnale. Harris received the Filmfare Award for Best Music Director – Tamil for his work in Minnale, breaking the 9 years continuous record of A. R. Rahman. He reduced working in films post-2013 and only scored music for very few projects since then. His last album was Suriya's Kaappan (2019).

Harris Jayaraj is still being celebrated by his fans online though the composer is not active in the film industry. They have been longing for his comeback for a long time. Last week, Harris turned 47 years old and his followers celebrated his birthday through wishes and fanmade edits on social media. Now, the latest buzz is that Harris' comeback film update arrived on his incarnation day as well.

It is being reported that Harris Jarayaraj is roped in to compose music for the upcoming film of Jayam Ravi with director M Rajesh. This project marks the reunion of Harris with Ravi after the chartbusters Dhaam Dhoom, Engeyum Kadhal and Vanamagan. Also, this is the second collaboration of Harris and Rajesh after the evergreen album 'Oru Kal Oru Kannadi'. On the work front, Harris is also working on GVM's Dhruva Natchathiram and Legend Saravana's debut movie.
