GST supervisor commits suicide by jumping from 30th floor of WTC

The Goods and Services Tax (GST) introduced by the present Modi regime is one of the highlights of his tenure for bringing the taxation under one umbrella. In a shocking incident Harinder Kapadia a GST supervisor aged 51 committed suicide by jumping from the 30th floor of the World Trade Center (WTC) in Cuffe Parade in Mumbai.

Onlookers saw Kapadia jump at 6.30 pm on Monday and rushed him to a nearby hospital but was declared already dead. According to reports Kapadia had a brain stroke and has been off duty for the past eight months and was depressed that he could not function normally after that. It is said that he took the extreme step due to the complications caused by his disease.
