In the Dasara week, Bigg Boss Telugu 4 contestants were asked to make a film. The inmates were assigned roles among themselves. Harika was given the role of a special dancer in an 'item' song. Since her performance was good in the song, she was given the title of 'Item Rani'.

Noel Sean, who recently excused himself temporarily from the show on health grounds, revealed on Tuesday that Harika cried the day she was given the label. He suggested that she felt offended by the derogatory title. "I consoled her and told her she alone knows what she is. I edited the words to read it as 'I am Rani'. Every girl is a queen as per me," Sean said.

He described Harika and Abhijeet as his best friends in the house. "I am not watching Bigg Boss episodes. I will be back soon and, once I get back, I am going to give a full fight in the house," Sean said.
