When the 'Si3' team met the Press yesterday ahead of the most anticipated film's release on February 9th revealed some interesting secrets behind how the project came into effect.

'Si3' is the third instalment of the blockbuster 'Singam' franchise and this is the first Tamil film franchise to have three parts. However Hari revealed that making a third part was not the initial plan when the director was approached to work with Suriya for the fifth time after 'Aaru', 'Vel', 'Singam' and 'Singam 2'.

Hari said that he had another story ready for Suriya and the actor had also okayed it. But an important person close to both of them insisted that it would be good to give the 'Singam' franchise a third part and insisted them to work on the same.

That's how the idea of making the third part came on board and now the film is ready to release amid huge expectations. The makers are quite confident that 'Si3' will exceed the expectations and will be a bigger success than the previous two outings.

What will happen to the story Hari initially wrote for Suriya before deciding on 'Si3'? Will the actor and director team up for the sixth time? For that to happen we have wait for at least two years. .

Suriya is presently shooting for 'Thaana Serndha Koottam' directed Vignesh Sivan and he will star his film with Selvaraghavan after that. Hari is expected to take up 'Saamy 2' after the release of 'Singam 3'.
