Even a taxi ride from a reputed company is not safe nowadays as a young woman travelling in a Uber taxi to her home in New York learned. The young woman took the taxi late night from New York Manhattan to her home which was in White Plains and being tired had fallen asleep.

When the woman woke up she was shocked to find the driver in the back seat groping her breasts. She reportedly tried to use her cellphone to call for help but the driver snatched the phone from her. He later dropped her off 60 miles from her home on a highway and she had to walk to a police station. What is more is that the driver had also charged her 1000 dollars for the ride which would cost a lot lesser.

The cops have arrested the Uber driver Harbir Parmar aged 24 and in the investigation found that he had a history of cheating his passengers by changing the destination on the app and charging them more. He now faces the music for attempted rape, kidnapping and fraud.
