The sensational topic that has been discussed nationwide now is the brutal police attack on two innocents Jayaraj and Fennix in Sathankulam, Thoothukudi which ultimately lead to their deaths. They were arrested for keeping their shop open beyond stipulated timings in lockdown and were assaulted in custody.
Social media has been filled with outrage against police department and the hashtag #JusticeForJayarajAndFenix has been trending after many celebrities and public actively tweeted demanding justice for the inhuman treatment of police which cost the lives of innocents.
Now cricketer Harbhajan Singh has tweeted on the issue in Tamil, which translates to "The one who attacks needs a weapon, the one in pain needs a reason. After losing lives due to race, religion and color, now a father and son have died without even knowing the reason of their deaths. It's not easy to get over this, and it's inhuman to forget this without getting justice. Where is humanity?".
