'Happy to cross Rs. 50 cr mark'

Nannaku Prematho's producer BVSN Prasad is happy that the film has been able to cross the Rs. 50 cr. mark.

"People are telling me that they have seen a new NTR in this film, that this is a wholesome family entertainer. The fact that something like Rs. 50 cr could be grossed in just two weeks amply proves the belief that a good film is always encouraged by our audiences. Importantly, our film has collected $2 million in US alone," he said.

The film was released in a whopping 1775 theatres, the biggest Sankranthi release. It opened to mixed response, but eventually acquired the tag of a family entertainer.
