'Happy New Year' is now available on German Home Video

Having had a successful run worldwide, wining hearts of millions of viewers, Red Chillies Entertainments Pvt Ltd`s(RCE) film HAPPY NEW YEAR (HNY) is now all set to add another feather to its hat. The movie will now be available on Home Videofrom 20thMarch 2015, dubbed in German language, ensuring that it reaches the drawing rooms of its German fans.
HNY came out in German cinemas on 30th October last year, a week after its Indian release where it has collected well in its original version and was in Top 10 at Box Office on its Opening Day in Germany.
Now with this new move, it hopes to bridge the gap between language and world content, further. Worldwide distributers Yash Raj Films in association with Rapid Eye Movies are now bringing the Home Video for the German territory.
Gaurav Verma, CRO of RCE said, "This home video is specifically aimed at SRK`s extensive fan base in Germanyto give them another reason to rejoice. The film is now being offered in German dub as all his films have massive traction there especially in home entertainment. HNY has been dubbed in many local languages and we will continue to extend the reach of our content to the furthest corners of the world by localizing content in more regional languages."
Talking about the venture at hand, Stephen Holl, founder of Rapid Eye Movies, Germany said, "Rapid Eye Movies, in association with Yash Raj Films (YRF), proudly announces the German Home entertainment release of the Red Chillies Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. production HAPPY NEW YEAR. SRK is the singular most popular Indian actor in Germany, with a major fan base and numerous fan clubs. After the box office success of HAPPY NEW YEAR in German cinemas, a dubbed German-language version of the film will hit stores on March 20th on DVD and blu-ray, as well as a limited edition digipak."
An action-packed musical heist, HNY is directed by Farah Khan and stars Deepika Padukone, Shah Rukh Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Boman Irani, Sonu Sood and Vivaan Shah.
