Prakash Raj has reportedly acquired the remake rights of recently-released Telugu movie Happy Days.

The actor turned producer, who came out with different movies like Azhagia Theeye, Kanda Naal Mudhal and Mozhi, is planning to remake the movie.

Prakash Raj had reportedly bought the rights heaping confidence on director Sekhar Kammula whose Anand and Godavari were big hits in Tollywood.

Meanwhile, Prakash Raj is currently producing Vellithirai, a film directed by his longtime friend and dialogue writer Viji. With Prakashraj, Prithviraj, Gopika and Lakshmi Rai acting in pivotal roles, the film is a remake of Malayalam blockbuster Udayananu Tharam.
