Sadha debuted to cinema with the superhit ‘Jayam’ opposite Nithin which was again remade in Tamil with the same title starring Ravi in the lead. She played the role of a naïve and young village girl with ease that appeased the audience in entirety. Her famous dialogue to this date remains the ‘Poya…Poo’ from ‘Jayam’. ‘Jayam’ was also the debut film for Nithin and Gopichand played the villain role in the role. All the three artists garnered attention from the film goers for their slick acting skills.

She also won the Best Newcomer Filmfare Award for the film which gave her a break in the career. ‘Mona Lisa’ was her first Kannada film following which she did films like ‘Avunannaa Kaadannaa’, ‘Chukkallo Chandrudu’, ‘Leela Mahal Center’, ‘Classmates’, ‘Naaga’, ‘Veerabhadra’, ‘Takkari’ in Telugu. She has shared screen space with many top stars of Tollywood including Balakrishna, NTR, Nithin, Siddharth, Vikram and Ajith. In ‘Shankar Dada Zindabad’, she did a cameo with megastar Chiranjeevi.

Other films including ‘Ethiree’, ‘Priyasakhi’, ‘Unnale Unnale’ in Tamil and ‘Mohini’ in Kannada adds to her credit.

Shankar’s ‘Aparchithudu’ starring Vikram and Sadha in the lead was the biggest hit in her career which was a remake of the Tamil ‘Anniyam’. Sadha exhibited a captivating performance in the role of an egoistic girl in ‘Nevalle Nevalle’ which still lingers in the minds of the audience. She has also ventured into Bollywood with ‘Khalbali’ and ‘Dil to Deewana Hai’ that are in post production stage now.
