Happy Birthday Anirudh!

Burn the dance floor at the club? Feel like a break-up song? Or a romantic evening mood? He’s got one for everything. The name is Anirudh Ravichander and we all love him. And on this special occasion, Indiaglitz wishes the prolific composer many more happy returns of the day.

It all began with ‘3’ for the young chap. It was his debut, and with a song named ‘why this Kolaveri di?’ he made all become ‘kolaverio’ for his music then onwards. One of his strengths is his youthful exuberance that reflects in his music- modern, contemporary, invigorating and amped up. But you cannot hold onto that presumption as well as he has surprised us with some of his melodramatic songs as well.

Anirudh has worked for the best in the industry and has created back to back chartbusters that trended a long time. Be it Vijay’s ‘Kaththi’ theme that we love so much or his Aluma Doluma for Ajith in ‘Vedalam’ which makes us go crazy dancy- he’s a true entertainer.

Speaking of entertainment, we have to talk about his onstage performances as well. While it is not so common for musicians to double time as performers, only some can really pull it off. You need a connection with the audience. It may not be easy to transfer your ‘film’ connect to a live group. But as we all know whenever Anirudh steps on the stage, it’s going to be set on fire.

His latest works in the Tamil scene is for Nayanthara’s ‘Kolamavu Kokila’ after his enjoyable ‘TSK’ album for Suriya. And one of the most anticipated projects that fans are awaiting now his score for Superstar Rajinikanth’s ‘Petta’ which is directed by Karthik Subbaraj.

And if we have to talk about his independent music, works as a playback singer and his awards- well we have to keep on talking. That could become a separate topic of discussion! In short: Anirudh has proved himself to be a man who delivers great music with an experimental knack.

We want him to scale greater heights in the forthcoming years professionally. We wish you a happy birthday once again Anirudh Ravichander!
