HBD Shankar - The synonym of cinematic extravaganza

Director Shankar is inarguably the pioneer of cinematic extravaganza in Indian cinema that has come to rule in the digital age. Long before anyone could imagine he conceived the invisible Prabhu Deva dance in the "Muqalla Muqabulla" song in 'Kadhalan'. Later as technology grew he also did the same and made sure his films struck awe in the minds of not only the audiences but his contemporaries.
The peak came with 'Enthiran' which not only had Superstar Rajinikanth in a never before attempted role of a robot in Indian cinema but the beautifully choreographed shots and well juxtaposed computer graphics again set a bench mark. Now the Rajamouli's and the newage Bollywood filmmakers are making great strides taking their film to the world stage. But still the wait is on with bated breaths in anticipation for the horizons that Shankar would have conquered in his next '2.0' starring Rajini and Akshay Kumar. Then ofcourse the spectacular director is reuniting with Kamal Haasan the greatest showman ever in Indian cinema for 'Indian 2' and the two would set yet another milestone for the younger generation.
Hapy Birthday Shankar sir and we wish you many more years of joy and good health to pursue your goal of providing the highest standards of entertainment that only you can conjure up.
