Actor Sairam Shankar, the brother of director Puri Jagannadh, turns a year older today.

Though Sai entered the industry as the brother of Puri, he proved himself as an actor with very few films. His first film as a lead actor, '143', has fared well at the box-office. He didn't stick to hero roles and has also played important roles in films like 'Danger' and 'Nenithe'. His 'Bumper Offer' was also a good commercial success.

His upcoming film is 'Jagadhamba', which is being produced by P.S.Vasudev.
