As Ram Charan celebrates his birthday, he is at the cusp of being an adventurist and an experimentalist of reckoning.
Last year, when 'Dhruva' got released, it became clear that he is the one to dare to push the envelope. When it became a hit, industrywallahs and the audience knew that his judgement was not incorrect. Right from picking the right director to playing the part with the subtlety needed, he was bang on in every respect.
Then came 'Khaidi No. 150', giving the debutante producer a blockbuster hit. As someone said, he is not just a producer, but a magnanimous one at that. During a foreign schedule to which he couldn't make it, Cherry made sure everyone on the set was taken care of royally. He even ensured a gift bonanza in the form of cash!
2017 and 2018 will be very defining for his career. He is playing an autistic character in Sukumar's next. In all probability, the character will go down as his best ever performance. And then, the thinking individual in him will keep on exploring untried genres and directorial talent, both as an actor and a producer.
