Nivetha Pethuraj is one actress in Tamil Film industry who has managed to garner a huge fan base and following with only about two Tamil films in her portfolio. The fact that as an actress she was able to do this speaks tons about her charming personality and display of skill, talent within a short time of being in the industry.

Born in Madurai to a Tamil Family, Nivetha had to shift to Dubai and continue her higher studies from there at the age of 12. Nivetha is not only beauty but brains as well armed with a degree from Heriot Watt University in Human Resources Management.

Nivetha's big break came when she was in her modelling career. After winning the title of Miss India UAE pageant in 2015, she was awarded her first role in Tamil cinema in the film ‘Oru Naal Koothu’ directed by Nelson Venkatesan.

Following her impressive debut performance alongside Dinesh in her very first movie, she was roped in as the leading lady for Udhayanidhi Stalin’s ‘Podhuvaga En Manasu Thangam’. However, now the actress seems to be on a roll as she is essaying the female lead in India’s first and very space film ‘Tik Tik Tik’ which features Jayam Ravi in the lead role.
