It is no news about how Maddy stepped into the industry! Each one of them know the success rate of the movie Alaipayuthey! A perfect Mani Ratnam, A.R.Rahman and Maddy combo that made this movie a grand success amongst the audience. The years 1999-2003 proved to be amazing years for any actor as a start and Maddy got an opportunity to work with big names like Gautham Menon immediately. ‘Minnale’ yet again was a landmark movie in the actor’s career where he was widely appreciated for his ‘mature’ acting in portraying true emotions.

Maddy is one of the top Tamil actor who has also been accepted equally well in the Bollywood industry. His hits in Bollywood include ‘Rang De Basanthi’, ‘Guru’ too. No other actor in the Tamil industry has shared a screen space with AamirKhan and Abhishek Bachchan.

We could say Maddy is definitely in Mani Ratnam’s favourite list, considering the role he was offered even in ‘Kannathil Mutthamittal’ – a powerful one ofcourse, which Maddy ofcourse pulled off with ease.

Belonging to the recent era of actor, rather this generation, not many actors have shared a screen space with Ulaganayagan himself, but Maddy was roped in for a brilliant project like ‘Anbe Sivam’ where he played a significant role. Maddy’s acting skills have reached even the doorways of HOLLYWOOD! Well yes, Maddy is a part of prestigious ‘That Four letter word’ where appears in cameo role. His other English stint – Night of the living dead is due this year and ofcourse we are all waiting for it.
