Five movies and all five are blockbuster hits. That's Karthi Sivakumar for you! The young talent celebrates his birthday today (May 25).

The film stars Karthi & Pranitha in lead roles with Santhanam, Roja, Kota Srinivasa Rao, Mumtaj and Nassar in pivotal roles. It's a political thriller with Karthi in a never seen before sort of role. Music is by GV Prakash and the film is red hot in trade as it's a big release after quite long in Tamil cinema.

Karthi who initially started off as an assistant director to Mani Ratnam has acted in Malligadu (Paruthiveeran in Tamil), 'Yuganiki Okkadu', 'Aawara', 'Naa Peru Shiva' and 'Siruthai'.

Post this Karthi has signed two films and both feature Santhanam. He has 'Alex Pandian' with Suraj. The film features him with Anushka Shetty. 'All In All Azhagu Raja' is by laugh riot specialist Rajesh and is touted to feature Kajal Aggarwal in the lead role.
