Happy birthday, Hansika

Hansika Motwani turns 21 today (August 9)! The Chinna Khushboo has enticed the Tamil audience more easily than she could charm her way on the Telugu screen, despite the likes of Puri Jagannadh.

Although her Bollywood debut failed miserably, Hansika didn't sit back but chose to shift her focus to the South. It goes without saying that her right move has only paid her more than good returns.

While her Tamil hit 'Oru Kal Oru Kannadi' is being dubbed into Telugu as OKOK, she also has 'Denikaina Ready' with Vishnu Manchu. She also has 'Settai' with Arya, Anjali, Santhanam, 'Vaalu' with Simbu, 'Vettai Mannan' with Simbu again and 'Singam 2' with Suriya and Anushka Shetty!

She looks cackling on the screen, but her roles in Maska, Jayeebhava, Seetharamula Kalyanam could not fetch her laurels. If Kandireega was a well-deserved hit for her, the limelight was stolen by the other girl. So was the case with Oh My Friend, where it was Shruti all the way.

Hansika is a promising star all the same. She has held her ground in Kollywood. Who knows, with Denikaina Ready, she may just be back with a bang. IndiaGlitz wishes her a happy birthday!
