What a 32nd Birthday Anushka Shetty will celebrate today. With the actress being the lead in two of the most prestigious and magnificent projects that the TFI has ever experienced 'Rudrama Devi' of Guna Sekhar and 'Bahubali' of SS Raja Mouli and another EFX extravaganza, touted to be the 'Indian Avatar' the bilingual 'Varna' by Selva Raghavan, she is certainly going thru the best periods of her professional career.
The single most powerful woman on South Indian screen, Anushka Shetty has the power to pull huge budget spectacles all by herself and she humbly attributes her success and the stamina to her producers and directors and the roles they have created exclusively for her. And she unequivocally places the one film that made her what she is today, ÂArundhati on the top of the list.
While post ArundhatiÂs success she struggled to find her niche for a while, she is definitely looking ominous now, with the three glorious projects lined up one after the other and all set to be reinstated as the queen on the throne of South Indian Cinema.
But what makes her very very special is her demeanour. Almost all the directors she has worked with, have told on open forums that she is a treasure and wish to have her as a family member, like a sister or a mother or a friend. That speaks volumes about Anushka as a person.
